Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is indeed a long game and as mentioned earlier in my review, it could take over one hundred hours for someone to completely finish the game. By doing the main quest alone, an estimate of about 60 hours is achievable in beating the game but since there are a lot of JRPG gamers wanting to complete everything like unlock all trophies or achievements, they are wanting for more. Luckily with Dragon Quest XI, the game simply just doesnt end when the credits have rolled. Assuming you have invested 60 hours into the game and you just saw the end credits, ask yourself if you want to do another twenty to thirty hours because the post-game activities the game has a lot of things to offer.
